Compact and versatile on the track
The 10 MCR is the basis for the 136 MRail, which is designed to provide versatile work in tight spaces. The placement of the unique Mecalac boom next to the cab, provides unprecedented lifting power. With a self-weight of 12.8 tons, a load of 4.0 tons can be moved short of the machine. Both track and track wheel motors are driven separately via a closed hydrostatic travel circuit. This allows driving, jib and slewing functions to be loaded simultaneously without sacrificing power and speed on the track and rail wheels. The travel speed on crawlers of the 136 MRail is 9 km/h (20 km/h on the tracks) which allows fast movement.

With the first boom section acting as a counterweight, and the powerful output stroke of the scoop cylinder, a load of 2.5 tons can be moved on the scoops.
Powerful separate travel motors move the machine on the track; a rail trailer can be attached.
All necessary information is visible on two displays. Operation of the drive on the track and wheel motors is possible with the joystick.
