Ahlmann Nederland is a family-run business in rural Ammerzoden, the Netherlands. A no-nonsense and dynamic company, with almost 50 years of experience in the delivery, maintenance and repair of specialist machines used in construction, paving and agricultural works alike, by contractors as well as industrial corporations.
Ahlmann Nederland in Ammerzoden has been the exclusive importer of the unique Ahlmann swing loaders in the Netherlands and Belgium since 1974. In the course of the years the Ahlmann range has been extended and includes, besides the reputable swing loaders, telescopic swing loaders and a wide assortment of attachments. One of the distinctive products from this range is the 3-in-1-leveller.

The Van Den Oord brothers bought the first three Ahlmann swing shovel loaders at the trade fair Hannover Messe in 1971. These were practical machines, but as yet had made no headway in the Netherlands.
Different importers of repute considered them unmarketable.
In the spring of 1973, two Germans entered the office of the Van Den Oord brothers. At a certain point they asked if they knew a good importer of Ahlmann products in the Netherlands.
They did: the Van den Oords in Ammerzoden.
Neither party has ever had any regrets about joining forces.
Ahlmann Nederland bv was officially established in November.
Ahlmann-Maschinenbau takes over vibratory plate compactor and roller specialist Bohn & Kähler.
The Ahlmann dumper AK 8 was described at the time as an interesting augmentation of the Ahlmann range.
The two hundredth Ahlmann was sold to Kraaijeveld in Barendrecht. The company is still operating with Ahlmann’s machinery today.

Ahlmann-NRW GmbH in Alpen, an independent subsidiary of Ahlmann Nederland, becomes the official dealer for Ahlmann and Mecalac machines in North Rhine-Westphalia and the northern part of Lower Saxony. We transferred the activities in 2010.

Ahlmann develops a new generation of four-wheel drive swing shovel loaders: the AZ 75 and AZ 95. The machines are equipped with a special mono-arm with booster cylinder.
The new AZ 95tele swing shovel loader is presented at Intermat. With the tele-swing shovel loader, the advantages of a telescopic loader are combined with those of a swing loader.
The Mecalac GreenJob 8MCR can be provided with 60 cm-wide rubber tracks.

The MWR series is a big surprise in 2016. The designers at Mecalac started completely from scratch with the design of both the upper structure and the chassis.
The design was crowned with the Design Award or Bauma Innovation Award 2016, the biggest innovation in the field of design.
