3-in-1 Leveling Blade
In order for a leveller to work optimally in both sand and rubble tracks, a system has been developed that can work forwards and backwards according to the “free-hanging” but also with the “cheese scraper” principle, with the sliding/compaction plate (at the same time scoop bucket) providing the necessary support to overcome the influence of tire suspension.
The major advantages of the Ahlmann 3-in-1 leveler are that you can level both forward and backward and choose to have the sliding compaction plate supported. Due to its relatively high weight, the blade penetrates a hard subbase more easily, and the sliding plate also provides a compacting effect. Material can be easily added using the scoop bucket. For best results, there should also be sufficient material in front of the blade. Using the scoop bucket, a ridge of sand can be deposited at the start of each new section, which can then be carried along, ensuring a continuous, smooth finish.
The grader is equipped with a swivel ring that ensures the blade does not apply uneven pressure to the left or right at break points. This swivel ring can be locked from the cab when using the bucket and when working in the “suspended position” during forward grading.
The functions are controlled by proportional valves, which ensure smooth operation and prevent "overshooting." The side doors are hydraulically operated, and their speed can be adjusted. The laser guidance system can be expanded with electric receiver masts, sound sensors, and adjustable angle adjustments that can be controlled from the cab using the V-box. The 3-in-1 leveler blade can also be equipped with 3D-GPS guidance.
As an option, the leveller can be equipped with a finishing/ barrel rounding bar, which allows rounding of 2.5%.
The Ahlmann 3-in-1 levellers are also compatible with wheel loaders from other brands. Available in the following working widths:
