The fastest and strongest 6-tonner
Mecalac's MCRs are exceptional tracked machines. They are designed to do versatile work in tight spaces. The placement of the unique Mecalac boom next to the cab, provides unprecedented lifting power. With a self-weight of 5.7 (6.1) tons, a 3-ton load can be moved short of the machine. The 6 MCR is also available with excavator boom with overhead dipper cylinder. Both track motors are driven separately by a closed hydrostatic travel circuit, just like a shovel. As a result, the MCR can be used for shovel work and drive, boom and slew functions can be loaded simultaneously without sacrificing power and speed on the tracks. The travel speed of the 6 MCR is 10 km/h, enabling rapid travel.
