On Thursday morning, Nov. 13, the commissioning of a Mecalac 8MCR-NG GreenJob Pick-Up-2-Go, delivered to Kennes VOF Agro & Cultuurtechniek of Ulicoten, Belgium, took place in Wechelderzande. The machine has been sold to the Belgian company F. Kennes BV in Hoogstraten and will be operated by operator Lens Van Ostaeyen.
The Pick-Up-2-Go system has been approved for category S towed trailer in cooperation with the Belgian Technical Service for Vehicle Homologation CHTS, so it fully complies with Belgian road traffic law.
For use on public roads in Belgium, the machine must be provided with the Belgian license plate according to the Proces Verbaal van Benaming (PVB document) and with the legal road lighting. When moved as a trailer, the license plate of the towing vehicle must be duplicated on the Pick-Up-2-Go system.
