• Compact on all sides: The Mecalac MCR features a three-part boom that folds alongside the cab. This keeps the machine extremely compact and allows it to work close to itself. With a separate drive pump for each track, it can turn effortlessly, even on loose or uneven ground.
• Lifts nearly half its own weight: The Mecalac boom keeps loads close to the machine’s center of gravity, making it stronger and more stable. When folded next to the cab, the first boom section acts as a counterweight. The inner cylinder adds extra pushing and lifting power, while the centrally placed, low-mounted slew ring ensures a low center of gravity and stability in every position. • Powerful drive system: With an impressive travel speed of up to 10 km/h, the Mecalac MCR is one of the fastest midi excavators in its class. Each track is powered by its own hydraulic circuit with a separate pump, ensuring consistent drive power, even while swinging or operating the boom. Attachments can be used while driving without losing hydraulic performance.
