The Ahlmann AS 1600 swing loader is the ultimate all-rounder for road building and contracting. The AS 1600 is the most versatile wheel/swing loader in its power class. Its radius of rotation of only 4.35 m gives the machine ultimate productivity as a wheel loader: the machine is simple to manoeuvre even in the most challenging locations in the construction pit.
The AS 1600 can reach a loading height of almost 4 metres, which is useful if you want to load for example an 8×8 lorry with high dumper boards. Ahlmann’s AS 1600f has a huge tensile force for clearing the track, compacting a silo or pulling a trailer.
